Delete your Docyment account

Request deletion of your account and associated data

You can request deletion of your Docyment account without reinstalling the app. Email our privacy team using the address linked below.

Email an account deletion request

What to include

Send your request to privacy@docyment.com from the email address you use for Docyment. Include:

  • your full name;
  • your Docyment account email address; and
  • your organisation or clinic name, if known.

Do not include patient names, clinical information or other patient identifiers in your email.

What happens next

We will verify your identity before acting on the request. Once verified, we will delete or anonymise your Docyment account and associated personal data, then confirm completion by email.

Some records may be retained where required by law, regulation, security, fraud prevention or contract. This can include clinical records and audit information controlled by your organisation or clinic. We will restrict retained information to its required purpose and retention period. Requests about patient data

If you are a patient, contact the clinic or clinician responsible for your care. They are the controller of your patient data and will handle your request. Docyment will support them as their data processor.
